Just to give you the impression of how little there was in my box here is what all my samples look without the extra packaging. I could put all of these in my pocket and forget they were there (if I did that I would be sad.)

The total value of this box is $17.81, it isn't a high value box but I am happy to be trying the face cream because I haven't found one that I like enough to buy. The Harvey Prince perfume Skinny Chic is really lovely and I rate it up there with Hello which is my favorite perfume by far. I am always excited to get more nail polish and I was pleasantly surprised that I didn't have a dupe for this in my collection already. I love the balm. I have several of their products and I love them all and I can't wait to see how this compares to my Urban Decay primers. Now the last item is the Ojon hair oil, I honestly don't know what to say about getting this sample since it is so small. I might be able to use it once so I am going to save it for when I go to Paris instead of bringing one of my larger bottles with me. Other than the size disappointment I am excited to try some new products.

Miss Jessie's Free Samples

Miss Jessie's Free Samples
So I found out recently about a company called Miss Jessie's and they specialize in products for curly hair (which I don't have.) I didn't think any of the products would suit me but I figured that I could at least look. After reading through the descriptions I settled on three (even though I only wanted two.) I chose two moisturizers because the ends of my hair are really dry and I chose the styler because it says it adds shine and luster which I could use too.

Here are the products that caught my eye and what the website says they do:

I finally got my invite for Beauty Army and at first I wasn't sure if I was actually going to sign up because the selection wasn't to my liking but then after some tweaking I found some great samples.

So here is what I picked:

May Birchbox Welcome Box

I got a nice surprise this weekend when my husband came back from the mail it was the welcome box for my 3 month gift subscription. I bought the subscription because I felt like I had been cheated because my normal subscription didn't come with one. Plus I wanted extra samples! I did get duplicate samples but I actually like those. So here is what I got:

So I was fairly disappointed in this box compared to my last one. But I did find a few things in it that I am happy with. Here is what I got:

TRESemme Split Remedy Review

After trying to get my massive amount of long, thick, straight, damaged hair under control I contemplated cutting it all off. I thought twice about it and decided that it just needed some TLC. Just a little background on my hair and my hair care: I used to use the same 2-in-1 anti-dandruff shampoo as my husband to save money. I never conditioned my hair because my scalp would get really oily if I did. I rarely had the time to blow dry my hair so I would brush it a tiny bit and throw it up in a bun. I haven't cut my hair in over a year. I neglected my hair so much that at one time I started getting natural dreadlocks, this scared me a lot.

So I switched back to using my TRESemme Anti-Breakage Shampoo and a spray leave-in conditioner, but I ran out of my leave-in conditioner and I was on the look out for a new one. The next day I saw the TRESemme Split Remedy commercial and it was another sign telling me not to give up on my hair. The next outing out to grocery store I grab a bottle of TRESemme Split End Conditioning Treatment, not realizing it wasn't a spray (I found out later that my store didn't even carry the spray). That must have been one of the best mistakes I could have ever done for my hair.

I have used this leave-in conditioner now about 4 times now and the bottle claims that it reduces up to 80% of split ends after 3 uses. I am not sure how well it is working on the split ends but it is really helping make my hair soft and it is reducing the frizz that the I have from not cutting my hair. I have noticed that this leave-in conditioner does not weigh down my hair and there is no extra build up that I have to wash out. This is the longest I have ever had my hair and I am now really comfortable leaving my hair down and I try not to put it up in a bun as much. I am completely happy with this product and I am scared that when we move I won't be able to find it again. I am not sure how long this one bottle will last me because I use about 3 to 4 pumps in my hair verses the 2 to 3 pumps that the bottle recommends but once I figure it out I will stock up on enough to last our 2 to 3 years while we are overseas. Once I finish my current bottle of shampoo I plan on buying the Split Remedy Shampoo.
