November Julep Maven

So this month I was faced with a huge dilemma when it came to choosing which box to go with. I have been waiting patiently for the suedes to be released in the monthly box and since there were only 5 different colors I wanted them all! I was debating for days during the selection period and the last option I had chosen was the Fall Warmth upgrade. Which meant I paid $50 to get the entire collection.

So What exactly was in the box?

First up I'll start with the Matte Suede Polishes

Nora, Brit, Amber, Hailee, and Minka

Nora - silvery aubergine suede
Full Size: 8 ml
Full Size Price: $14.00

Brit - graphite silver suede
Full Size: 8 ml
Full Size Price: $14.00
Amber - Golden bronze suede
Full Size: 8 ml
Full Size Price: $14.00

 Hailee - khaki green suede
Full Size: 8 ml
Full Size Price: $14.00

Minka - Oxblood red suede
Full Size: 8 ml
Full Size Price: $14.00

I was happy that the upgrade also included two other polishes that I had on my wishlist, the matte top coat and Trina.

Matte Top Coat
Full Size: 8 ml
Full Size Price: $14.00

Trina- Deep aubergine shimmer
Full Size: 8 ml
Full Size Price: $14.00

Now Donna was the only color I didn't want to buy but after seeing it in person I am glad I got this one.

Donna - Smokey peacock blue crème
Full Size: 8 ml
Full Size Price: $14.00

The products in this months box are:

Pink Grapefruit Body Scrub

Full Size: 1 towel and 1 mitt
Full Size Price: $10.00
Nail Polish Remover Pads
Sample Size: 3 pads
Full Size: ?
Full Size Price: ?
Full Size Value: $1.50 ?

I am disappointed with Nora because it barely has any purple and is mostly silver. Brit, Amber and Minka look just like I had expected but Hailee barely has any hint of green and photographing these colors was very hard I took around 60 pictures until I had the perfect picture of each one. Trina and Donna are what I expected as well. I am happy that I got the matte top coat so I can experiment with the look of my different polishes. Now the was very apprehensive about the body frosting and scrub because I was afraid that they wouldn't smell very good. I was wrong the scent isn't very bad at all and is very mild for it being a citrus fragrance. The most surprising of all was the scrub towel and mitt I was expecting a them to be made out of cotton or other fabric but they are not. They definitely have a texture the will be good for exfoliating and I can't wait to test them out. I am happy to see that Julep is making nail polish remover pads but I with they would have them for sale in their shop along with a refill for the nail polish remover. I'll be keeping the pads in my purse in case I really need to remove my polish away from my place.

Overall the value of this Fall Warmth Upgrade box is roughly $159.50 which is fantastic since I only paid $50 for it. Now the Sad part is once I was done with my photo I had to box it back up and hand it over to my husband because I am not allow to have it until Christmas :(
