April BirchBox

So I signed up for BirchBox last month since I decided that I need to buy something for myself every once in a little while. My first box came this month and I was soo excited to go through it and discovered a few interesting surprises.
 
After reading a few other blogs about beauty sample boxes I figured it would be good to figure out if I am getting my $10 worth of samples.

So first off I received:

So the overall value of this box comes out to roughly $67.63* considering I only paid $10 for it I think is was worth it. It has paid for itself and the next 5 months easy. Now there was one problem with the box it turns out the moisturizer samples were expired, but BirchBox is offering 100 BirchBox points to make up for it. So that means combined with my feedback points and my first order points I will have 180 points next month. So the points work like this for every 100 points you get $10 off of a full size order. That just means in 1 month I have almost gotten $20 off my next full size purchase. Hopefully next month will be another good score for me! As I try everything I will make sure to post reviews. 

*After looking into Olìe Biologique I went to their website and they sell the 5ml sample for $15. But when I break down the sample value based off of the full size it is valued at $9.33. The total value of my box would then be $73.30, which is even more impressive.
