Julep March Add-ons

This month I received my add-ons before my monthly box so I don't have much to show except a nail polish and some Swatch Me stickers. I am still waiting on my box so stay tuned!

 Here is the set of swatch me stickers. I only bought these because I wanted all of my polishes to match and since the newest ones come with the stickers attached I figured I need to get them. Most people don't think that this are worth the $4.99 that Julep charges for them but I was willing to pay that so that my polishes will look the same.

February Julep Maven Box

Once again this month I upgraded my box because it was just too tempting and I wanted several of the colors, but the biggest factor was that the upgraded box came with 2 extra colors that I didn't have in my collection yet and the white lacquer box.

This month there were two products included, the Freedom Top Coat and the Oxygen Nail Treatment.

Now the last polish that I got was an add-on and it is a limited edition color. I can never pass up glitters so I picked it up.

This month I essentially got 13 polishes a top coat, a nail treatment, a white lacquer box and an eyelash curler for a grand total of $59.98 but the value of this months box comes in at $266 (minus the eyelash curler) which is still a great deal for me.

This month’s theme was the Resort Collection, Nudes & Neons. I wasn't thrilled with the selection this month since I already have both nudes and neons in my collection, the one neon color I was missing was orange so I chose the only box (American Beauty) with that option and added on one of the only nude colors that caught my attention.

Box # 3 what is in it?

In December I opted to get the whole Holiday Wardrobe upgrade as well and the Glitter and Glow polish set but what I go in the mail was a complete surprise since instead of the two boxes I was expecting I got three. So what was in the third box read below the break to find out.

Since finances were tight during October I couldn't get the whole collection of polishes. I did have to have this box shipped to my mom as well so it took a while to get it. Overall I am happy with the box so what colors did I pick up?

So this month I was faced with a huge dilemma when it came to choosing which box to go with. I have been waiting patiently for the suedes to be released in the monthly box and since there were only 5 different colors I wanted them all! I was debating for days during the selection period and the last option I had chosen was the Fall Warmth upgrade. Which meant I paid $50 to get the entire collection.

In September Julep teamed up with Trina Turk to make a fall color collection. September marks the first month that Julep allowed you to upgrade your box to the entire collection for $50. So basically instead of holding your breath for a golden box you can just buy it. I opted in for the entire collection because I really wanted to try out the mascara in both black and brown, and I did not have any real basic greens or blues in my polish collection.

This months theme for Julep was matching lips and nails. They really got me when they announced that they are including a free polish in each box to celebrate the good old USA and Canada. I was a sucker for both so this month I added on the color O Canada since I am already America the Beautiful (they decided this based on where your shipping address was.) To top it all off I was just mentioning I needed glitter polishes and this month is full of glitter polishes. This month I chose the style Bombshell which had a glitter polish, white polish and a lip gloss. I also added on another glitter polish called Yumi which is like the basic everyday glitter. I jumped on the chance to pay just $4.99 each for 2 add on polishes instead of the full price of $14.00 each.

Julep Maven June Box Update

I just got my free polish from Julep in the mail today and they included a sample of another one of their products.

After combing through all of Julep's colors I chose Megan a nice aquamarine with some shimmer to it. They also included a sample of The Best Pedi Creme Ever! I almost bought a new subscription just for this product alone but stopped myself since I already have half a dozen foot creams from other companies.

Julep Maven June Box

My box came yesterday and for some reason the mail carrier didn't think that it would fit in the mailbox, so they left it with the apartment office. Since we didn't check the mail until late last night I couldn't get my box. Instead of waiting for my husband to come home this evening to get my box I hobbled out of the house to get it (I currently have a broken foot and I was told not to walk on it as much as possible.) To top it all off I actually ended up waiting 30 excruciating minutes for the office to open.  But here it is!

Yesterday I received my first Julep Maven box, I only subscribed to this new subscription because with the coupon code COLOR2012 you get your first box for only $0.01! Normally the monthly subscription costs $19.99 so going off the normal price I'll calculate how much everything is worth.  On the website they say that every box is worth at least $40 so it already makes it a good deal.
